Pleo's Whistleblowing Policy

At Pleo, we're committed to fostering a culture of transparency and upholding high ethical standards across everything we do. We prioritise the safety and respect of everyone affected by our business. That’s exactly why we've implemented a Pleo Whistleblower Policy and reporting channel. We want to make sure everyone has a confidential way to report any instances of suspected or actual misconduct within the company.

Who can file a report?

Pleo’s Whistleblower Policy is available to all our employees and external third parties that are or have been involved with Pleo in a business context. These third parties include:

  • Potential employees at a pre-contractual stage
  • Former employees of Pleo
  • People under the supervision of third parties or contractors
  • Other stakeholders that are aware of reportable breach under this Policy, e.g. customers.

Before you file a report

If you’re uncertain about whether your suspicion could be a reportable case, you should consider if it meets the following conditions:

  1. The suspicion of misconduct is based on reasonable grounds and information that you believe to be true at the time of reporting
  2. You're not committing a criminal offense by reporting this suspicion e.g. hacking a system to retrieve information
  3. The potential case may lead to one or more of the following:
  • a breach in legal obligation that impacts the public and/or Pleo’s reputation and/or operations;
  • danger to any individual’s health or safety; and
  • deliberate covering up of information about any of the above situations.

How do I file a report?

We have set up a secure channel where you can make a report if you suspect or witness any wrongdoing as described above. Through the Pleo Whistleblower Channel, you can submit a report in writing or by recording your report verbally. You can also upload any relevant files. To do this, you can use the following link to make a report: File a report.

How do I track my report?

After you file a report, you will receive a link that you can use to track the status of your report. You can also provide your email address to receive notifications on your case. The case handlers will not see your email address. Both options allow you to update your report with additional relevant information.

Is it confidential?

All reports through the Pleo Whistleblower Channel are handled securely and confidentially. You always have the option to make your report completely anonymous or with your name and contact information.
