Yes! With our Starter plan, Pleo is free for up to 2 users. On the Starter plan, you would only pay additional fees if you want to add a third user, if you pay vendor invoices, or if you require optional add-on features or services (e.g. External bookkeeper access) which are listed on this page.

The Essential plan has a free trial where you can also try all the paid features for free before upgrading.

If you're on a plan with Cashback, you’ll get 0.5% cashback (for Advanced Plans) or 0.75% cashback (for Beyond plan) with every purchase made using Pleo cards. Talk about saving time and money! Cashback is capped at the total rate of your subscription including platform and additional user fees (if applicable). It will be transferred directly to your Pleo Wallet every month so you can keep using that money for new expenses.

We aim to be as transparent as possible with our pricing. Alongside from the monthly subscription fee and the optional add-ons (e.g. additional users), there are some costs associated with administrative transactions, including chargeback processing (£29 on Starter plan, £19 on Essential and Advanced) or Pleo Wallet funds refund (£29 on Starter plan, £19 on Essential, Advanced and Beyond). There is also a fee for issuing a physical Pleo card replacement (£10 on Starter plan, £5 on Essential, Advanced and Beyond). All prices and fees quoted exclude VAT. If you choose our Essential, Advanced or Beyond plan, you’ll be charged a flat platform subscription fee (billed monthly or yearly). Paid plans include a small amount of users free of charge, but you can always add more users for an additional user fee. For example, if you’re on our Essential plan with monthly billing and have 10 Pleo users, you’ll be charged £136 each month (£45 platform fee + 7 additional users at £13/user). Your monthly or annual subscription will be automatically deducted from your Pleo balance. If you have any questions about our pricing, drop our sales team a message.

Pleo was founded in early 2015 by fintech veterans Jeppe Rindom and Niccolo Perra, who met while working at the Danish start-up success Tradeshift. The Pleo team is based in Copenhagen and London. The company is financed by Bain Capital Ventures, Thrive Capital, Kinnevik, Creandum and Founders A/S.
